Samuel R. Noel

Mr. Noel was the managing director of three non-profit organizations for over 20 years. He prepared and administered annual budgets for these organizations. He was responsible for hiring, evaluating, encouraging and motivating all staff members. Sam has lead fundraisers in two non-profit organizations that resulted in $300,000 being raised in these capital campaigns. He was a lay Pastor/Elder for eight years. Along with his wife, he has been a marriage, individual, and family counselor for over 30 years. During this same time period, he taught many educational seminars across America. Sam holds an MS in Engineering and an MA in Counseling Psychology. His leadership style is to let others know that we are all equals as we work together to help others. His goal is to motivate others through love and acceptance while working in their lives through our outreach programs at TJCCC.

Shannon R. Yeske

Shannon Yeske comes to us with a diverse background with over seven years of customer relations experience, both in the retail industry as well as the customer contact industry. Ms. Yeske also has teaching experience working with both developmentally challenged and high-risk students. Ms. Yeske holds a Bachelor of Youth Ministry degree from Colorado Christian University, and has worked as a youth director for seven years.

Raymond A. Pownall

Mr. Pownall has extensive experience in the real estate industry, in particular, in relation to the purchase and sale of high end real estate projects. Mr. Pownall has been structuring and managing real estate investments for over 15 years. During the past eleven years he has been a licensed realtor and the last three years have been spent as the owner and employing broker for a Denver based real estate firm. In addition to running the real estate brokering business, Mr. Pownall has been a partner in or principal in the investment in approximately $170 million dollars worth of real estate. Mr. Pownall is dedicated to this community and its people that are struggling in these very difficult times. He is committed to productively setting up programs that will help people in the future as well as present.

Michael Noel

Michael Noel has been a pastor in two churches over the last 13 years. He spent 6 years at Arvada Central in Arvada, Colorado, and the last seven years pasturing The Journey, a church in Westminster, Colorado. Michael has two undergraduate degrees from Colorado Christian University, one in Youth Ministry and the other a Communications Degree. He completed his Master of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in 2003 and is currently enrolled at Denver Seminary to complete his Doctoral program in Para-church Leadership. Michael is genuine, caring, hard-working, and a highly motivated leader. He comes to The Journey Community Care Center to continue his vision of a community that cares for the poor and marginalized in society.

James Wiegand

Jim has worked for a Community Center Board that provides a full range of services for individuals with developmental disabilities that reside in Arapahoe and Douglas Counties. In the last 17 years he has participated in job and resource development to working with Colorado Department of Human Services on housing issues. Jim has been a board member for the Community Housing and Development Association for Arapahoe County. From September 1999 to present, Jim has been working for the Colorado Department of Human Services housing authority. The role this agency has in the community is partnerships with nonprofit agencies throughout Colorado that provide supportive services, homeless prevention services and homeless shelters. Jim is very dedicated to the TJCCC and furthering its causes.

Robert Seidel

Mr. Seidel brings a very unique experiencial background to TJCCC. For eight years he worked with the youth staff of a medium-sized church. This includes six years of building two homes per year for Habitat for Humanity with high school student labor. He has managed, donated to, and participated in many projects for non-profit organizations involving general construction and fire protection systems. This includes procurement of donated materials and labor. Mr. Seidel is the Founder and President of Code Fire Systems. Code Fire has been in business for 24 years with a volume of $7,000,000 to $9,000,000 annually. Code Fire performs work across Front Range Colorado, and currently employs in excess of 90 individuals. Mr. Seidel is a 20 year member and former president of the Colorado Fire Protection Association, a 25 year member of National Fire Protection Association, a 25 year member of Associated General Contractors of Colorado, and a member of National Institute of Certified Engineering Technicians. He is also an alumnus of Penn State University with a degree in Fire Protection. Lastly, but not least, he is an ordained pastor for the last five years providing counseling and mentoring for congregation and staff.

Jonathan Clark

Jon Clark is the Business Development Director and co-founder of Aten Design Group, Inc. a web design and development company based in Denver, Colorado. He is responsible for building new business relationships, directing client interaction, and managing the internal efforts of project team members to accomplish both design and development goals. He has a B.S. in Broadcasting with a minor in Journalism from John Brown University and graduated cum laude. Jon is interested in finding new and innovative ways to care for people, and in finding ways to involve others in that effort. He is excited to be able to do both in his work with TJCCC.
